You are never too old to start learning or developing your skills at this glorious instrument, and I have been privilaged to teach many people over the years from 5 to 90! Playing should always be a great experience, and I respond to what you would like to play. Examinations are not a formal requirement of learning, and whilst I am happy to work with you on them if you wish, you may just want to learn for the pure enjoyment of playing. Either way I am very happy to teach you just want you want to know.
If you are at the time of life when you are leaving work, learning to play a musical instrument is one of the most rewarding things you can do.
